Lost Lake is beautiful. How can you go wrong when it is located in the Columbia River Gorge and near Mt Hood? It is incredibly scenic country. It is beautiful year-round, true to Western Oregon, some months have more precipitation than other months. These images were taken at Lost Lake Resort. We were enjoying the Day Use Area. (There is a parking fee.) It would be a great place to camp or stay in the cabins or yurts. We did not stay over night so I can not comment about Lost Lake Resort. I can tell you that it is an enjoyable and gorgeous place to enjoy nature.
There are several Lost Lakes in Oregon. This Lost Lake is off of I-84 in the Columbia River Gorge near Mt Hood in the Mt Hood National Forest. If you plan a trip to Lost Lake you also might consider the Hood River County Fruit Loop. The produce in this area is phenomenal!
